OSUN (Sundiata Post) – Afrobeats sensation David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has praised his uncle, Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State, describing him as the best governor the state has ever had.
In a recent appearance on the Culture Knock Out (C.K.O) podcast, hosted by Chris and Baloo, Davido reflected on how his uncle was initially dismissed by many due to his vibrant and jovial personality. However, he stressed that Adeleke’s performance in office has since proven critics wrong.
“My uncle, the Dancing Governor is good vibes. He has an amazing story, he is the last born of my dad’s family. They [Osun people] never believed that he would become a governor,” Davido said.
“He is a real example of, ‘Don’t judge a book by its cover’; just because somebody likes to dance and have a good time, it doesn’t mean when it is time to work, he won’t. Now, he’s been the best Governor that they’ve ever had.”
The singer’s remarks have drawn attention to Governor Adeleke’s leadership style, with fans and observers weighing in on his impact in Osun State.
