Abuja (Sundiata Post) – Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar has expressed grief over the sudden demise of former Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Aloysius Iyorgyer Katsina-Alu,
Atiku who said he is saddened by the loss, on behalf of his family, extended his heart-felt condolences to the family of the late Justice, Spreme court of Nigeria and the people and government of Benue State.
The former Vice President who disclosed this on his twitter handle “@atiku” said:
“I’m saddened by the loss of Justice Aloysius Iyorgyer Katsina-Alu, a former CJN of Nigeria. On behalf of my family, I condole with his family, the Supreme Court of Nigeria and the people and Government of Benue. May his soul rest in peace”.
Justice Aloysius Katsina-Alu died at about 2am on Wednesday at a private hospital in Abuja.
Katsina-Alu who was Chief Justice of Nigeria between 2009 and 2011, hailed from Benue State.
