Sokoto – A Member of Sokoto State House of Assembly, Alhaji Aminu Boza (PDP-Sabon Birni North), on Tuesday advised Gov. Aminu Tambuwal to dedicate his victory at the Supreme Court to youth development.
Boza, in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Sokoto, said the victory was not for the governor alone, but the entire people of the state.
“We have witnessed a great success by the judgment of the Supreme Court, and we are grateful to Allah for His decision in our favour.
“Moreover, our youths have actively become engaged in praying for this success at homes, mosques and their places of work.
“As such, I want to appeal to our victorious governor to utilise this opportunity to engage and support more people in the area of youth development, to enable them to succeed,” he said.
The legislator noted that the victory would enhance development in the 23 local government areas of the state.
“We are confident that the government will not rest on its oars, until it delivers the dividends of democracy to the people.
“This would make them appreciate the present administration more,” he said.
Another lawmaker, Alhaji Musa Miko (PDP-Tangaza), described the Supreme Court judgment for the state as a great success for democracy.
He appealed to the opposition parties in the state to join hands with the Tambuwal-led administration to further enhance development.
