CALABAR – Prof. Andrew Uduigwomen, the Cross River State Overseer of Deeper Life Bible Church on Tuesday said adequate arrangements had been finalised for the take-off of the church’s university.
Uduigwomen made this known in Calabar during a chat with newsmen.
He said that everything needed had been put in place in Lagos for the commencement of the university to be known as Anchor University.
The university is scheduled to commence academic activities in September 2014.

Uduigwomen, who is also a senior lecturer at the University of Calabar, said that the university would be run and managed by the church.
He said that in the first five years of its take-off, the university would start with the Faculty of Art and Humanities, Education, Social Science, School of Management and Accounting.
Uduigwomen said that negotiations between the management of the church and the National University Commission had been concluded.
He said that the university would imbibe educational and moral values to millions of Nigerians, while making its charges affordable to all.
On the issue of security challenges facing the country, he said that the church as a body would continue to pray for peace and love to reign in the country. (NAN)
