Jos- Deputy Governor Ignatius Longjan of Plateau on Friday denied defecting from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
This is contained in a statement signed by Secretary of his Campaign Organisation, Mr Garba Musa, in Jos.
“Our attention has been drawn to a statement that had inundated the social media and the media on alleged defection of the deputy governor of Plateau State.

“The Longjan Campaign Organisation wishes to categorically refute such insinuations and to state that Longjan is still a bona-fide card carrying member of the PDP.
“We call on our teeming supporters to discountenance such misleading insinuation’’, the statement added.
NAN recalls that the deputy governor vied to become the governorship candidate of PDP but lost to Sen. GNS Pwajok.
He had said there was no congress in the real sense of it; “some people just sat down somewhere and compiled delegates list; the list was a product of selection, not election.’’ (NAN)
