Abuja (Sundiata Post) – President Muhammadu Buhari has said that the President of the European Council, Mr Charles Michel has supported the candidature of Dr Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala as the Director General of the World Trade Organisation.
Buhari who said he will not relent in garnering support for Okonjo-Iweala until the goal is achieved hinted that the European Council support was expressed on Friday when he held video conference with Mr Charles Michel.
Sundiata Post recalls that the U.S is working against the emergence of Nigerian candidate, Dr Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala as the boss of the WTO.
