Director Urges Jigawa Civil Servants To Advance Their Education

Dutse  –   Dr Abdullahi Dogo, the Director, National Open University (NOUN), Dutse Centre, Jigawa has called on civil servants in the state to advance their education by seeking additional qualification in the centre.

Dogo made the call while speaking with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Dutse on Monday.

He stressed the need for the civil servants and members of the public to acquire more knowledge in order to improve their productivity and contribute to development of the society.

According to him, the university offers Post Graduate Diploma, First and Master’s Degrees in various fields.

“The institution provides an opportunity for Nigerians, especially civil servants to further their education.

“Additional qualification will enable them to improve their productivity so that they can contribute to the development of their society,’’ he said.

The director said that interested candidates could purchase forms for enrollment in any of NOUN’s academic programmes in the centre.
