Dogara condoles Bauchi govt, people over emir’s death

Abuja –  Speaker, House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, has commiserated with the government and people of Bauchi state over the death of the Emir of Misau, Alhaji Muhammadu Manga.
This is contained in a statement issued on Monday by Dogara’s Special Adviser on Media and Public Affairs, Mr Turaki Hassan.
According to the statement, Dogara said the late monarch was a selfless leader who served his people with the fear of God.
He said that the deceased worked to maintain peace and stability in his domain.
“The late Emir Muhammadu Manga was a father to all; he lived an exemplary life worthy of emulation and has bequeathed that legacy to his people,’’ Dogara said.
He further said that Bauchi had lost one of its most respected and revered traditional rulers and condoled with the Manga`s family, Misau emirate council, government and people of Bauchi over the loss.
