Former President Donald Trump’s plane was forced to make an unexpected landing in Billings, Montana, on Friday due to a mechanical issue, according to airport officials.
Trump was scheduled to hold a rally in Bozeman, Montana, on Friday night, but instead, his private plane landed in Billings that afternoon. Bozeman is located about 150 miles west of Billings.
Billings-Logan International Airport confirmed that Trump’s plane “landed without incident,” and he later continued his journey to Bozeman on another private jet. The specifics of the mechanical issue were not disclosed.
