TMZ has reported that Drake filed a lawsuit against IG model Layla Lace for making false rape and pregnancy claims and attempting to extort him. According to the lawsuit, Drake claims to have met Layla in Manchester, England during his Boy Meets World Tour in February 2017. He said the two had consensual sex and that “Layla also voluntarily and seemingly happily performed oral sex…”
The lawsuit claims that Layla lawyered up back in May 2017 and demanded money from Drake for her alleged baby. It was also stated that Drake was threatened with a defamation lawsuit for claiming to not have known her as reported in a TMZ story from April 2017.
Drake claims he asked for a paternity test to no avail. The lawsuit also claims after Drake inquired about a paternity test Layla and her lawyer went ghost. “There is no credible evidence of pregnancy, nor any baby, which would have been born last Fall.”
Drake is formally suing Layla for civil extortion, emotional distress, fraud, defamation, and abuse of process for unspecified damages.
Days after one of Drake’s alleged former flames accused him of impregnating her and then refusing to answer her calls or texts, all traces of her accusation suddenly disappeared.
Social media model Layla Lace began making noise about her alleged falling out with Drake five days ago when in the same Instagram post she used to allege that he had knocked her up, she blasted him for his refusal to acknowledge the news. A couple of twists to the story transpired in the days that followed, including a conversation DJ Spade claimed to have had with Layla, in which she admits to her charge being a hoax.
After Spade posted the text message, Layla briefly attempted to dispel it as a Photoshop job, but it appears as though she has since abandoned her claim. On Sunday, April 23, TMZ reported that the vixen had wiped her public pages clean of any word about the supposed pregnancy.
