Drug-resistant bacteria could kill up to 80,000 in UK

London –  UK government has warned in a forecast that as many as 80,000 UK citizens could be killed and 200,000 infected there be an drug-resistant bacteria.

The on Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) was published in March and was accessed by a local medium.

The report sounded the alarm on the need to develop antibiotics to avert the possibility of even routine surgical procedures becoming -risk.
