ABUJA (Sundiata Post) – Operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS) have raided the Abuja office of the Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP).
Reports indicate that the officers demanded to see the organisation’s directors.
A post on SERAP’s X (Twitter) account stated: “Officers from Nigeria’s State Security Service (SSS) are currently unlawfully occupying SERAP’s office in Abuja, asking to see our directors.
“President Tinubu must immediately instruct the SSS to cease the harassment, intimidation, and attacks on the rights of Nigerians.”
This incident follows the recent arrest of Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) President Joe Ajaero by DSS operatives at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja.
