The governor commended the NCAA for its support and cooperation for the airport.

Earlier in his remarks, the leader of the delegation, Mr Nkemakolam Daniel, commended the governor for his commitment and zeal to the project, adding that some states started such project and discontinued.

Daniel advised the government to construct both inner and outer parameter fence, access road and to instal airfield lighting in the airport.
