ORE (ONDO STATE) – The Ore unit of the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC), in Ondo State has cautioned motorists from violating traffic rules during the Easter celebration.
The Unit Commander, Mr Kehunde Dahunsi, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Thursday in Ore that the call became necessary in view of the increased number of road accidents during such festive periods.

Dahunsi said that most of the incidents were due to over speeding, particularly by commercial motorists.
“Commercial motorists over speed in a bid to make more trips and more money during the celebrations,.
“We are appealing to them to obey all traffic rules ranging from over speeding, overloading, making phone calls while driving and non usage of safety belts among others,’’ Dahunsi said.
He said that FRSC would be on the Benin-Ore expressway to caution motorists and sanction anyone that violated traffic rules. (NAN)
