A Malian nurse has died of Ebola.
This is the second recorded case of ebola virus disease in the country.
According to Malian officials, this case is totally unrelated with the first case.
The Nurse was infected after treating a man who arrived from Guinea at the Pasteur clinic in Bamako. The hospital has been placed under quarantine.
The new case came after WHO confirmed the release of 25 of 100 people who were thought to have come in contact with the first case (two year old) who died in October.
Since this outbreak, Ebola has claimed nearly 5000 lives mostly in Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone.
