The candidate of the All Progressives Congress for Saturday’s governorship election in Edo State, Osagie Ize-Iyamu, has won Etsako West Local Government Area.
The Independent National Electoral Commission announced the result on Sunday.
According to the result released at the collation centre in Benin, INEC said Ice-Iyamu polled 26,140 votes.
The incumbent and candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Godwin Obaseki, scored 17,959 votes.
