“The welfare of my people in Owan is paramount to me. I will never stop doing things that will elevate them from the shackles of poverty because, without them, I won’t be here today,’’ he said.
Iriase said his tenure had been able to alleviate poverty in the lives of young people in the area through various sustainable projects that he had initiated.
“I have provided basic social amenities to complement the contributions of the state government to the infrastructural development of the state,’’ the lawmaker said.
He said the various empowerment programmes he had embarked on were an avenue to reach out to the people he represented.

The lawmaker added that his campaign against poverty was on improving the lives of his constituents who helped him to win the APC ticket to re-contest in the February 2015 general elections.
Iriase assured that he would not betray the confidence reposed in him, if he was re-elected in the general elections.
The beneficiaries thanked the lawmaker, saying that the items would go a long way in ameliorating the poverty situation in the community. (NAN)
