Abuja (Sundiata Post) – Chairman of AREWA Christains and Indigenous Pastors Association (ACIPA), Rev. Luka Shehu has called on Muslim faithful in the country to emulate the attributes of the Holy Prophet Mohammed (SAW) aptly symbolised by his humility and love towards all men.
In a statement on Friday, Shehu said Eid al-Fitr Festival marking the conclusion of the Ramadan fasting should serve as a guiding light to all Muslims in the country to always do what is just, fair, equitable and good towards all men no matter the differences.
According to him: “Like always EID comes with special moments of Prayers and gratitude to God Almighty for His Benevolence to humanity.
“Above all, EID speaks to all, especially as the month of Ramadan is Sacred to all Children of Abraham (may the grace of God be upon him and His descendants).
“As Arewa Christians Felicitates with our fellow Muslims across Nigeria, we pray and have faith that together and in love this marks a season of greatness for Nigeria.
“From the Northern gates and fringes are the goodwill and prayers of Arewa Christians in solidarity and celebration of EID-EL-FITRI with our Muslim brothers and friends for the fulfillment of our great destiny as a nation of God for peace and Prosperity”, the statement said.
