Abuja (Sundiata Post) – The Special Adviser to the Plateau State Governor, Barr. Caleb Mutfwang, on Intergovernmental Affairs, Rt. Hon. Abubakar Yahaya Kanam has felicitated with the Governor and the entire Muslim community in the State for a successful completion of the Ramadan fast.
This is contained in a sallah message he personally signed on Tuesday and made available to our correspondent in Jos.
Kanam said Mutfwang has done a lot in just nine months in office, surpassing what his predecessor did for eight years.
“Truly the Time is Now, as Plateau people can see the speedy infrastructural face lift in the State especially at the city center.
“We pray that the spirit of Ramadan and the prayers offered will continue to guide the Governor even as we journey in the remaining 3 years one month he will spend in office”, he said.
The statement also charged the Muslim ummah to remain steadfast in applying the virtues of the Ramadan by sustaining supplication, piousness and exemplary communing with each other.
Kanam also advised Muslims community to continue to indulge in prayers for the peace, security and economic prosperity of the State and the country in general.
He called on the people to support the economic policy of Mutfwang which is geared towards the restoration of the State economy back to its glory.
He also tasked Nigerians, particularly Muslims to fervently pray for leaders at all levels to govern with the fear of God by epitomizing the virtues of justice, humanity and service for the good of humanity.
