ISEYIN – The Chief Imam of Iseyin, Alhaji Mufutau Ishola, on Monday urged Muslim faithful to be pray fervently for peace in the country.
In his sermon at the Eid praying ground to mark the end of Ramadan, the imam said that only prayers could solve the current security challenges faced by the nation.
“We can overcome these challenges only by prayers and prayers alone; when we are persistent in our prayers, I have no doubt that God will listen to us.
“This is no time for religious discrimination or bigotry, but a time for us to unite and face the common enemies of this country,’’ he said.
