Abuja (Sundiata Post) – The Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer, Lagos International Trade Fair Management Board, Barr Vera Ndanusa has felicitated with Muslims in Nigeria on the successful completion of Ramadan fasting.
Ndanusa In her Sallah message made available to our correspondent on Tuesday in Lagos urged the Muslim faithful not to relent but intensify prayers for President Bola Tinubu to successfully achieve his “Renewed Hope Agenda”.
She urged the Muslim faithful not to allow challenges to truncate the sacrifice of their one month prayers, even as the love for their fellow countrymen should guide every step taken in the journey of building nationhood.
“On behalf of the Lagos State Trade Fair Management Board, I extend my warmest congratulations to you as we commemorate the Eid-el-Fitr after the successful completion of the Ramadan fast.
“As you celebrate this joyous occasion, I urge you to sustain the lessons of sacrifice and love learnt during the Ramadan fasting”, She said.
She however noted that the two major faiths Christianity and Islam coming out of their fasting period should allow the solemnity of the holy months to influence their thoughts and actions in relating with one another and thinking about the future of the country.
“We are in very difficult times, and it would take a great deal of selflessness and love to be our brother’s keeper.
“So, I urge you to go the extra mile in extending a hand of support to friends, relatives and acquaintances as we press on”, Ndanusa said.
