ADO-EKITI- Ekiti House of Assembly on Sunday congratulated Mr Biodun Oyebanji, as he was sworn in as the new governor of the state.
Chairman of the House Committee on Media and Publicity, Mrs Yemisi Ayokunle, wrote the congratulatory message in Ado-Ekiti.
She stated that the assembly is confident that Ekiti people will benefit immensely from the wealth of experience of the new governor.
The Assembly also congratulated former Gov. Kayode Fayemi, the immediate past governor for mileages he recorded at restoring the core values of Ekiti.
She stated that Fayemi finished well through the inauguration of several legacy projects that showcased the state to the outside world.
Ayokunle added that the Assembly was proud to be a major participant in the efforts at restoring the values of Ekiti in the last three years.
The lawmakers promised more support for the new governor to ensure good governance that would further fast-track the growth and development of the state.
The Assembly also congratulated the people of Ekiti for being part of the historic occasion, urging them to support the new governor to record more successes. (NAN)
