ABUJA (Sundiata Post) – President Goodluck Jonathan on Monday held a closed door meeting with Adamawa State elders and Adamawa State’s Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate in the forthcoming governorship election, Nuhu Ribadu at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Present at the meeting were Vice President Namadi Sambo, former Nigerian ambassador to the United States, Hassan Adamu (Wakili Adamawa); Chairman of PDP in the state, Chief Joel Madaki and Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Mr. Umaru Fintiri.

The Minister of Youths Developments, Boni Haruna and the Minister of Women Affairs and Social Development, Hajia Zainab Maina were also at the meeting.
Details of the meeting were unknown as the meeting was still on-going as at press time.
But sources say it was not unconnected with the forthcoming elections and to ensure the party’s victory at all levels in the state.
