Electoral materials snatching: Obiano vows to pursue hoodlums to den

AGULERI (ANAMBRA) – Gov. Willie of Anambra has vowed to pursue hoodlums who snatched materials meant for Saturday’s state assembly election in the state to their den to rescue the materials.[pro_ad_display_adzone id=”10″]

Speaking with newsmen after his accreditation at Aguleri, Obiano, who was accredited manually after the card reader failed to identify his fingers, said he would do everything to rescue the materials.

He said he received security reports that the hoodlums snatched the materials meant for some polling units in Ekwusigo local .

The governor also said that he had gotten the assurances of the Resident Electoral in the state, Mr Edwin Nwatarali, to send more polling officials to the area to support those on ground.

The governor’s tenure is still running, so the election in Anambra is only for the state assembly. (NAN)
