ABUJA (SUNDIATA POST)- Subscribers of major telecommunications companies MTN, Glo, 9mobile, and Airtel are experiencing network disruptions on Thursday amid nationwide protests against untold hardships witnessed under President Bola Tinubu’s administration.
On Thursday, Nigerians took to the streets in defiance of Mr Tinubu’s appeal and threat of clampdown by security agencies to remonstrate against the escalating cost of living and soaring food prices.
The protesters are faced with significant communication challengesn over poor internet services by the telcos.
None of the telecom companies have explained the service interruptions amid the ongoing protests.
Before the demonstrations, MTN had closed its outlets nationwide after irate customers attacked its Lagos office on Monday. The angry crowd breached the office’s iron fence, leading to further disruptions in service.
