“We shall provide a blueprint to guide future governments in the geophysical, infrastructure and socio-[pro_ad_display_adzone id=”10″]economic development of our state.
“This will end the vicious cycle of abandoning inherited projects by succeeding administrations leading [pro_ad_display_adzone id=”10″]to haphazard and epileptic infrastructure development,’’ he said.
According to him, his administration will establish an Infrastructure Development Master plan for the [pro_ad_display_adzone id=”8″]
state.
“The Master plan will outline and define essential infrastructure projects which fit into the overall agriculture, industry and housing policies and programmes of the state,’’ he said.
He also said that his administration would construct ring-roads to link all the 17 local government headquarters and improve on the Nsukka/OpiAgu-UgwogoNike/Enugu roads.
“We will also pay special attention to the Orba/Ogbodu Abba/Eha Ndiagu/Mbu/Neke/Ikem/Eha Amufu-Ebonyi border roads so as to ease transportation in and around the state.
“We will introduce a hitherto unknown maintenance culture in the state by establishing a Road Maintenance Agency to ensure that our roads are motor able all-year-round,’’ he said.(NAN)
