“As we all know, there are procedures for the movement of players from a club to another which avert problems,” he said.
The chairman said that some of the players knew the procedures but often took the easy way to circumvent the rules.
He also warned the clubs to always make enquiries about the players from their clubs before going on to sign them.
“If you do not know anything about the players’ movement procedure, endevour to contact the Enugu State Football Association for clarification to avoid falling victim of the problem,” he said.
Offor-Okenwa warned the players to always obtain their coaches approval and blessings before changing clubs.
“Players need the coaches’ approval and blessing whenever they want to change club to avoid any hindrance to their progress in football.
“A coach’s blessing is like the conjugal blessing from parents to their children in marriage,” he said. (NAN)
