It is with joy that we the members of Ebonyi State Association of Town Unions(ESATU) in Anambra State heartily felicitate with the Ezza Ezekuna people both at home and in diaspora on their annual new yam festival (Oke Aku) which marks their cultural new year calendar.
The Oke Aku Ezza is a very long aged cultural heritage and very significant traditional festival to Ezza Ezekuna people in Ebony state as it is the symbol of unity and love amongst them.
On that note we urge and pray for all sons and daughters of Ezza Ezekuna to sustain the Oke Aku new yam festival and improve on it where necessary to maximally explore the numerous values Oke Aku offers to them.
In the spirit of Oke Aku celebration Ebony State Association Town Unions in Anambra State wishes Ezza nation happy celebration and implores all sons and daughters of Ezza Ezekuna to shun all forms of social vices and embrace the spirit of hard work, peace, honesty, bravery, love and good neighborhood wherever they find themselves which Ezekuna their progenitor was known for.
