Reno Omokri, former aide the Ex-President Goodluck Jonathan has joined other Nigerians that are criticising the outfit of the president to the one-day working visit to Imo State, saying that even prisoners wear better trousers.
Omokri, a known critique of the president Muhammadu Buhari asked if it was the embattled Deputy Commissioner of of Police, Abba Kyari that made the President’s trouser.
The President donned in an Igbo outfit arrived the Sam Mbakwe airport, Owerri, Imo on Thursday morning where he would inaugurate some developmental projects executed by the State Governor, Hope Uzodimma.
He was received at the Sam Mbakwe International Cargo Airport by Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo, the Chairman of the South East Governors’ Forum and Governor of Ebonyi, Dave Umahi, and the All Progressives Congress (APC) Anambra State gubernatorial candidate, Andy Uba — among other prominent personalities.
Writing via his twitter account, Mr. Omokri said the trouser looked like what the president has done to Nigerian economy.
“Was it Kyari the that sewed this trouser? Trouser that looks like what you did to the Nigerian economy? Even prisoners wear better trousers.
“This looks like what a plumber sewed. Honestly, Buhari you could have done better!”
