Abuja (Sundiata Post) – A former youth president of the Christian Association of Nigeria (YOWICAN), Engr. Daniel Kadzai, has lauded the Air Peace Chairman Allen Onyema over his support for President Bola Tinubu’s government and policies.
Mr. Onyema had said that President Tinubu means well for the country only besieging Nigerians to be patient with the President.
He reminded Nigerians when Tinubu was the Governor of Lagos at the time people did not believe that he would do well but he surprised everyone by surpassing the achievements of his predecessors.
Onyema also told his own story of how he had supported the Nigerian economy with his airline but yet his company suffered challenges but with determination he is surmounting those obstacles.
He blamed the criticism Tinubu’s government is receiving from Nigerians on his appointees, saying that the current cabinet of the President should be looked into.
The Air Peace boss also blamed the administration of the former President, Mohammed Buhari for the woes Nigeria is faced with, adding that Tinubu inherited a failed country from Buhari.
“President Tinubu will fix this country. Let us give him some time, he means well for Nigeria”, he said.
Responding, the CAN scribe-man said just as Mr Onyema has competed favorably with foreign airlines and emerged victorious, Tinubu will do the same with the failed economy he inherited.
Kadzai said Air Peace being one of the leading indigenous Air transportation in Africa regardless of the numerous challenges faced during Buhari’s administration is a testament that President Tinubu will record similar testimony.
He recounted Tinubu’s policy directives to improve the investment climate and position Nigeria as the preferred investment destination for the oil and gas sector in Africa, saying that the policy will reduce contracting costs and timelines and promote cost efficiency in local content requirements.
“This is a wonderful step that will encourage investors and push up the Nigerian oil and gas market and service delivery.
“Oil and gas are the backbone of the Nigerian economy. The move by Tinubu holds potential for repositioning the sector for optimal production and Consequently economic rejuvenation as well as wealth creation for the country”, Kadzai said.
He also enjoined Nigerians to be patient with Tinubu even as the Port Harcourt refinery will soon commence operation.
“Very soon we shall no longer feel the pains of the subsidy removal, as the Port Harcourt refinery will soon commence operations followed by Dangote refinery”, he said.
