ABUJA (Sundiata Post) – A former minister of Women Affairs Uju Kennedy Ohanenye has thanked President Bola Tinubu and Nigerians for the opportunity to serve the country.

President Tinubu sacked her among other persons in his cabinet reshuffle on Wednesday.

Hours after her ouster, the former minister described her over one-year service to the nation as a “privilege”.

“I remain committed to serving my country and will continue to do my utmost to contribute to its progress and prosperity.”
