IKEJA – The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) on Wednesday advised intending travellers to visit the Aviation Passenger Service Portal before embarking on their trips.
This is contained in a statement signed by the General Manager Corporate Communications of FAAN, Mr Yakubu Dati, in Lagos on Wednesday. [pro_ad_display_adzone id=”10″]
He said that this was necessary as intending passengers would experience flight delays and cancellations, due to bad weather. [pro_ad_display_adzone id=”10″]
NAN reports that the Minister of Aviation, Mr Osita Chidoka, at the launching of the portal last month, said that the platform would empower travelers to get information at their finger-tips.
The minister had said that intending passengers and the general public could easily access information on flight availability, local airport information, weather forecasts and airline performance analyses.
He said the portal was where the flying public could access the real time information about airlines’ operations at any of the airports in Nigeria.[pro_ad_display_adzone id=”10″]
