Lagos – The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) on Friday said it was giving priority to professional training of its Rescue and Fire Fighting Service personnel across the nation’s airports.
This is contained in a statement issued by FAAN’s General Manager, Corporate Affairs, Mr Yakubu Dati, and obtained by the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos.
It said the training programme was in line with recommendation of the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) to enable the personnel meet up with the global standards.
The statement said further that the personnel would also undergo overseas training programmes to enhance their proficiency in fire fighting at all airports across the country. (NAN)
