Abuja (Sundiata Post) – Former Minister of Aviation and member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief Femi-Fani Kayode has refuted the news making rounds that he has dumped the party for yet to be announced party.
Fani-Kayode who debunked this when he took to his Twitter handle tweeted:
“Reports that I have left @OfficialAPCNg are not true. Any announcement that does not emanate from me directly or on my verified social media pages concerning my political affiliation are fake.”
Sundiata Post recalls that months preceding the conventions of political parties, FFK defected from the opposition People’s Democratic Party to APC and was promised the running mate of the Kogi state governor, Yahaya Bello who contested as Presidential candidate to the party but did not win the primary.
Bello had since his defeat at the party promary declared his support for Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu -the presidential candidate of the party for 2023 general election.
