Abuja (Sundiata Post) – Barely 24-hours after his inauguration, governor of Ekiti State, Kayode Fayemi has appointed Secretary to the State Government, Chief of Staff and Chief Press Secretary.
The newly sworn-in governor announced his first set of appointments in a statement released on Tuesday 16 October.
Former University Lecturer and former Commissioner in the state, Mr. Abiodun Oyebanji was appointed as Secretary to the State Government while Mr. Biodun Omoleye was appointed as Chief of Staff and Yinka Oyenike was named the Chief Press Secretary.
All three appointed aides served the governor during his first term.
Recall that Governor Fayemi was yesterday sworn-in after the July 14 Ekiti governorship election where he defeated Mr. Eleka, the governorship candidate of the People’s Democratic Party.
