ABUJA – The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command on Friday restated its commitment to ensuring the security of lives and property of residents, especially in the suburbs.
The Public Relations Officer of the command, DSP Altine Daniel, gave the assurance in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja. [eap_ad_1] “We have subur
[eap_ad_4]bs within Abuja and in most of the suburbs we have outposts that are attached to the mother division within that area.
“Apart from the outposts, our patrol men go round these particular suburbs at intervals.
“Most of these suburbs equally have foot patrol men who are from the outposts, at times in collaboration with either the vigilance groups of the areas or men from the mother division, who assist them in patrolling those suburbs.“
Daniel said the command would continue to do its best to protect the lives and property of every citizen.
“Here in FCT Police command we are doing our very best to see that we provide security for each and every one, be it in the suburbs or in the city centre,“ she said. (NAN)
