Abuja – The Federal Government has approved the release of the list of successful candidates into the Federal Government Academy, Suleja, Niger for the 2016/2017 academic year.
This is contained in a statement signed by the Deputy Director of Press, Federal Ministry of Education, Mr Ben Goong, on Friday in Abuja.
According to him, the list of successful candidates has also been published on the ministry’s website.
Adamu stated that 147 candidates were offered admission out of the 2,250 that sat for the examination.
“Candidates who took part in the Federal Government’s Academy entrance examination should check their names on that site as well as in Room 607 in the Department of Basic and Secondary Education,” the statement read in part.
The deputy director stated that the new students would resume at the Academy on Oct. 8.
The minister commended the management of the Academy for impressive performance it had recorded in the last 26 years.
The academy established May 25, 1990, has maintained an average record performance of 92 per cent in the West African Examinations Council and the National Examination Council examinations,’” according to the ministry.
