According to the statement, the one-day meeting will also deliberate on resource mobilization initiatives and engage with the legislative arm of government on increased funding for health research in Nigeria.

The meeting will also have in attendance research leaders and key stakeholders including Chairman Senate Committee on Health, Chairman House of Representatives Committee on Health, the EU Ambassador, representatives of WHO, NAFDAC amongst other dignitaries.
