Journalists covering the completion are expected to complete the following two steps if you wish to request an accreditation:
FIFA Media Channel account (http://media.FIFA.com): media representatives who do not have an approved FIFA Media Channel account should click onhttp://media.FIFA.com/registration. Approval to access the FIFA Media Channel does not mean that you have been granted accreditation.
Submit accreditation form: please complete the media accreditation form on the FIFA Media Channel. All applications are subject to confirmation. Confirmation will NOT be on a first come, first served basis. Successful applicants will be notified and provided with further information in due course. Furthermore, please be advised that international applicants are responsible for arranging their own visas.
Media accreditation via the FIFA Media Channel is for written press, photographers and media working for non-rights-holding broadcasters. There is a separate accreditation process for rights-holding radio and television broadcasters that is serviced by the FIFA Broadcaster Servicing team. Please contact fifabroadcastergservicing@fifa.org for information.
The FIFA Media Channel is the primary communication channel between FIFA, the Local Organising Committee of each FIFA competition and the media. This password-protected online service is designed to provide media professionals with details on media-related activities around FIFA and its competitions and background information. The media accreditation process for any FIFA competition requires the completion of an event-specific accreditation form via the FIFA Media Channel.
