ABUJA – The First Lady, Dame Patience Jonathan on Wednesday urged Christians to emulate the virtues of love, peace and tolerance, which were the attributes of Jesus Christ.
Mrs Jonathan in her Christmas message to mark the celebration, enjoined Nigerians to seek the face of the Lord as government strives to tackle the current challenges facing the nation.
The first lady, while wishing Nigerians a merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year ahead, also urged them not to relent in their prayers for peace, especially before, during and after the 2015 elections.
The first lady, who solicited for support for the leadership of the country, reiterated the need for prayers and intercessions for the Lord to favour the country.
Jonathan also called for prayers for wisdom in their quests to provide purposeful leadership for the peace, progress and prosperity of the nation. (NAN)
