Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has denied reports claiming she is organizing a national prayer event in response to the country’s economic situation.
In a statement by her Senior Special Assistant on Media, Busola Kukoyi, Mrs. Tinubu dismissed the claims as “misleading” and “unfounded,” urging Nigerians to ignore such reports.
The official statement clarified that the First Lady has no plans for a national prayer event. It emphasized that while she is a strong advocate for prayer and believes in praying for Nigeria, she views it as a personal responsibility for all Nigerians, regardless of religious or political backgrounds.
The statement also advised the public to verify any information related to the First Lady through official channels, reminding everyone to disregard any unconfirmed announcements.
