Ilorin – The Association Of Nigeria Premier League Club Chairmen and Managers, has called on security agencies to fish out the killers of Ibrahim Abubakar, Head of Protocol, Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).

Abubakar was killed on Wednesday at his residence in Abuja by armed men.
The call was contained in a statement issued on Thursday by the body’s Acting Chairman, Isaac Danlandi and Acting Secretary, Alloy Chukwuemeka.
The club owners asked security agencies to rise to the challenge posed by his death and ensure that the killers were apprehended and brought to book.
They also condoled with the President, Board, Congress, Management and Staff of the NFF over the death of Abubakar.
The statement described the murder of the NFF head of protocol as shocking and a great loss to the football family.
It stated that the late Abubakar known as ‘Ibro’ among his colleagues was one of the best and finest staff in the Nigeria football house.
“His strongest strength has been hard work, good inter personal relationship and contact- network, mostly with the relevant bodies and individuals in the general sports and non-sports sectors,’’ the statement added. NAN)
