Protests against police brutality has been described as unimportant by former militant leader, Alhaji Asari Dokubo.

He asked Niger Deltans to shun protests against police brutality and scrapping of Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS, and focus reinvention of Sovereign State of Biafra.

He said this was because nobody can oppress the Ijaw man in Biafra.
