Mr Lawrence Ukwu, a retired Assistant-Editor-in-Chief and pioneer New York Correspondent of the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), who died last month, is to be buried on Aug. 30, a statement issued by the family said.
According to the statement signed by Ms Rosemary Ukwu, the Board Secretary, Robert Ukwu Foundation (RUF) and made available to NAN on Monday in Abuja, the late Ukwu, who was the President of the foundation, an NGO, died at the Asokoro General Hospital, Abuja, on July 21.
