Abuja (Sundiata Post) – Former Plateau State Labour Party Governorship Candidate, Amb. Yohanna Margif has lauded the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Sen. George Akume for his philanthropic gesture, adding that the SGF remains the indisputable political capstone of the President Bola Tinubu’s administration.
“His philanthropic and humanitarian campaign to empower youths with business grants, support widows and the less privileged, offer scholarships as well as provide educational materials to communities in the North Central States, stands him out as an astute giver cum politician of our time”, Margif said in a Statement sent to our correspondent on Thursday.
“The Akume foundation focuses on humanitarian services which has made him a caring leader, an initiative which is appreciated by the people of Plateau State, particularly in Bokkos LGA.
“I urge philanthropic Nigerians and donor agencies to collaborate with the Akume Foundation as it seeks to improve the lives of Nigerians in their communities in line with the “Renewed Hope Agenda” of this current administration”, Margif said.
He thanked the Plateau State coordinator, Comrade Goladi, for implementing the program, saying that the rich in the society should emulate Akume’s example.
