Osogbo – The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in Osun on Friday in Osogbo decorated 15 newly-promoted officers with their new ranks.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the 15 newly-promoted officers from Osun, Oyo and Ondo commands were among the 588 officers recently promoted by the corps nationwide.
Speaking at the occasion, Mr Aipo Austin, Zone 11 Commanding Officer, urged the newly-promoted officers to see their elevation as a call to duty and renewed dedication to the commission.
NAN reports that the 15 officers were promoted from the Deputy Corp Commanders to the ranks of Corp Commanders and from Assistant Corp Commanders to Deputy Commander.
The newly promoted officers expressed their gratitude to God and promised to put in their best in the service of the corps.
