SANGO-OTA (OGUN) – Mr Olonisaye Olufemi, the new Unit Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in Sango-Ota, Ogun, says the unit will embark on aggressive decongestion of gridlock in Sango-Ota and its environs.
Olufemi, who is transferred from Osun, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Wednesday in Sango-Ota that the unit was committed to boosting its operations in the state.[pro_ad_display_adzone id=”10″]
“I have observed that there is heavy traffic in the area due to the impatient attitude of drivers who are always in a hurry to get to their destinations,’’ he said.
Olufemi, an Assistant Corps Commander, noted that there was the need to enforce traffic rules and regulations to reduce traffic problems to the barest minimum in Sango-Ota.
“The unit will intensify effort to ensure that drivers do not park their vehicles indiscriminately on the roads to avoid accidents,’’ he said.
He advised drivers and other road users to be disciplined and safety conscious to ensure protection of lives and property in the area. (NAN)
