Ghana consumer inflation rises to 18.9% in May

ACCRA  – Ghana’s annual consumer price inflation rose marginally to 18.9 percent in May from 18.7 percent in April, the statistics office said on Wednesday.

The West African country is implementing a three-year aid programme with the International Monetary Fund to remedy fiscal problems including inflation persistently above government targets. (Reuters)
