Calabar – Gov. Ben Ayade of Cross River, has approved the appointment of Dr Ukam Edodi as the new Chairman, State Internal Revenue Service (IRS).
A statement issued on Monday in Calabar by Mr Christian Ita, Special Assistant Media (SA) and Chief Press Secretary to the governor, confirmed the appointment.
It said the governor also approved the appointment of Mr Gabriel Okulaja as Special Adviser, Department of Public Transport (DOPT).
Other appointments are: Mr Eval Imoke, Special Adviser, Project Monitoring and Mr Mfon Bassey, Chairman, Commercial Transport Regulatory Agency.
The statement said the appointments are with immediate effect (NAN)
