Igede (Ekiti State) – Gov. Ayo Fayose of Ekiti on Monday described death of Gbenga Olofin, chieftain of All Progressives Congress in car crash on Saturday as very sad and unfortunate.
Fayose made the remark when he paid a condolence visit to the Onigede of Igede-Ekiti, Oba James Aladesuru, Igede in Ekiti.
The governor said Olofin was “a very formidable man, a man of strong will and a wonderful friend who believed in achieving whatever he set out to achieve.’’
The governor said he was in Igede Ekiti, home town of the former ambassador, to condole with his family, the oba and the entire people of the town.
